infected skin::country

[i'm about to start making maps of Lebanon that might (or might not) help me with my master project..]

this snapshot of an a1 map i scanned this afternoon gave me the impression of being an infected 'under the skin' scientific image of veins, arteries, ...




then it automatically made me associate it with 'infected country' and a little stamp thing on my sketchbook that dates back to april2007:
